San Andreas folds and faults
Contractional deformation near Palmdale along the San Andreas fault zone, representing a complex hard-linked restraining stepover structure. Complexly folded and faulted rocks of the Anaverde Formation (lower to middle Pliocene) are unconformably overlain by Pleistocene sediments.
