The eastern face of the Coriscao peak (2235m) in the Cantabrian Mountains, (NW Spain) shows the deformation associated with the external nappes of the Cantabrian Zone (NW Iberian Massif) during the Variscan Orogeny. The Panda Fm. limestones (Moscovian) were thrust on top of the Coriscao Fm. olistrostrome (Moscovian), and subsequently folded by the Coriscao syncline.
