Cleavage refraction in graded bedding in Devonian sandstone. The cleavage was reactivated as joint planes at a later stage and filled with quartz veins. Cleavage refraction, accentuated by the veins, indicates that the layering is in normal position. In the 1970s the outcrop was unfortunately vandalised by sample drilling.
