Amalmagated channels with isolated fine-grained layers in the conglomerates of Montserrat. These are a sequence of middle Eocene fan-delta deposits. In the early Middle Eocene Ebro basin, subsidence enabled the deposition of 1400 m of alluvial deposits in a slightly progradational sequence. The conglomerates of Montserrat are a thickening and coarsening upward fluvial sequence.
