Field photograph of a silicified fault breccia/gouge zone in sheared granitoids of Gavilgarh-Tan shear zone, central India. The faults are roughly East-West and generally parallel to the mylonitic foliation in granitoids. Mylonitic foliation is clearly seen in the large fragments of host rock within the silicified zone. At places, such faults have displaced Deccan Trap lava flows, and therefore should be post-Mesozoic in age. Photo ID 615
