Granodiorite intruded by swarms of aplite and pegmatite dykes, mylonitised in a major subhorizontal shearzone which bounds the batholith at the top. The outcrops along this road show nice examples of syntectonic intrusion of a major batholith into an active extensional ductile shearzone. The photograph shows a south-facing outcrop normal to the lineation. PhotoID84
